Step 1 – User research
After conducting user research and receiving numerous requests, we identified the need to introduce a feature that allows users to book recurring appointments and charge clients in advance for these appointments.

The idea behind this enhancement is to provide users with the ability to easily set up recurring appointments in their calendar, while also offering end customers the convenience of paying for these appointments at a later time.
Problem statement
Setmore the lacks of a recurring appointment booking option and advanced payment functionality, despite user demand and requests.
Step 2 – Wireframing
During the initial concept phase, we explored different solutions for implementing the desired functionality, ultimately opting for a simple and user-friendly approach that would be familiar to our users.
Step 3 – Prototyping
Using Figma, I developed a working prototype for user testing on volunteered participants. The high-fidelity version incorporates existing components and introduces new ones as necessary.
Final effect
The users highly valued the feature, and upon its inclusion in Setmore’s paid plans, it generated approximately $1000 in monthly recurring revenue within the first few months of its release.
